Belle Crest ices skaters' decision to stay in valley

     Professional ice skaters Mike and Sandra Course have traveled throughout the United States and the world, performing in front of millions. When it came time to settle down, they chose a home at Perma-Bilt Homes' Belle Crest.
      "From the moment we saw the Belle Cliff plan at Belle Crest, we knew it was perfect for us," Mike Course said. "The plan's library is where Sandra likes to paint and the floor plan and community are perfect for our needs. If we hadn't found Shadow Hills, we wouldn't have stayed in Las Vegas."
      The Belle Cliff, a single-story plan, comes with three bedrooms, a library, two baths, an island kitchen with a breakfast nook, family room, living room, dining room and a two-car garage. The home measures 1,637 square feet.
      The Courses have become regulars at the 51,000-square-foot Shadow Hills Club, a recreational facility for use by residents of the four neighborhoods in Perma-Bilt's Shadow Hills community. It features a lap pool, swimming pool, barbecue area, half-basketball court, putting green, workout room and clubhouse.
      "We are at the club every day," Sandra Course said. "We love the swimming pool and sauna and we love the view of the nearby mountains and tranquility of the community. We have been around the world but we chose to live here."
      Belle Crest offers four floor plans ranging from 1,362 to 2,363 square feet.
      Prices start from the $130,000s.
      Additional plans include the single-story Belle Ridge, which has three bedrooms, two baths, a country kitchen and two-car garage. The plan measures 1,362 square feet.
      The two-story Belle Monte plan has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with options for a fifth bedroom and third bath and measures as large as 2,236 square feet. It can be built to include a three-car garage with a workshop area.
      The Belle Crest measures as large as 2,363 square feet with four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and options for five bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The home can also be built with a loft, retreat or bonus room and has a three-car garage.
      To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue and travel west. Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.
