Buyers drawn to Green Valley Ranch
Charles and Kimberly Van Geel looked at the home styles of the Green Valley Ranch community in Henderson, and immediately purchased their first home there.
"We were pleased to see how each neighborhood has its own distinct style, yet there is still a strong sense of continuity in design throughout the entire community," Charles Van Geel, director of office leasing for American Nevada Corp., the developer of Green Valley Ranch, said. "Considering the caliber of the homes and all of the upscale community amenities, we felt that Green Valley Ranch offered an excellent value for the price."
The Van Geels liked the community's parks and trails, as well as other recreational opportunities.
"We have basketball and tennis courts nearby, and when we have children we will be able to take advantage of the many amenities that are geared toward kids. We both walk almost every evening, and we love all of the walking paths, which wind through the neighborhoods and are very nicely landscaped," Van Geel said.
Green Valley Ranch will also be home to the Henderson Promenade and Special Events Plaza, a 38-acre facility that is expected to open late next year.
To visit, take Interstate 215 to Green Valley Parkway and drive south.
