Real Estate Achievements
n Samantha C. Bonham has joined American Nevada Corp. as community marketing manager. She brings more than 10 years of experience in real estate marketing, finance and sales to her new position, in which she will manage all marketing functions for the Green Valley Ranch and Seven Hills communities in Henderson. Previously, Bonham held positions with North American Mortgage and Beazer Homes.
n Colliers International has appointed Xavier Wasiak to the post of vice president of the industrial division.
n A new designation is available to mortgage loan officers through a partnership headed by the Nevada Mortgage Bankers Association and the Nevada Association of Mortgage Brokers. The Nevada Certified Mortgage Professional designation was created to advance technical expertise and help curb lending abuses in the mortgage industry. The concept was recognized with a Best Practice award from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
n Coldwell Banker Premier Realty is building a $4.5 million corporate complex at 8290 W. Sahara Ave. The new facility, scheduled to open with 100 agents in November, is comprised of two buildings and 30,000 square feet. In December, the company will relocate its office on East Tropicana Avenue to Eastern Marketplace, 10120 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 300. It will house about 80 agents.
n Soozi Jones Walker of Realty Executives of Nevada represented Congressional Properties in its five-year lease of 1,889 square feet at 8367 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 101, to Remington Homes, represented by Hutchinson Commercial's Chris Paskvan, for $200,592. In another transaction, Walker represented Donlynn in its two-year lease of 4,400 square feet at 5435 Desert Pointe Drive, Suite A, to Concert Entertainment, represented by Marilyn Lee of Properties Plus, for $56,531.
n Pro Commercial Real Estate's Gary Burgher represented Simpson-Norton Corp. it its five-year lease of 16,200 square feet at 4705 S. Valley View Blvd. to Lawrence Warehouse Co. for $570,000.
n Jaynee Shaw of Las Vegas International Realty represented both parties in Berta Trust's sale of 4,000 square feet at 2401-2407 W. Charleston Blvd. to Quizmos for $450,000.
n Colliers International's Michael DeLew, Spencer Pinter and Greg Pancirov represented Michael and Karen Poulter in their purchase of 2,808 square feet at 3155 W. Post Road from the W. T. Pascoe III 1992 Trust for $59,838. In another transaction, Pat Marsh and Lori Ferrario represented both parties in Valley View Commerce Center Association's three-year lease of 1,776 square feet at 5160 S. Valley View Blvd., Suite 110, to Dawson Co. for $56,563. Scott Gragson, John Kilpatrick and Robert Torres represented Beltway Belcastro in its purchase of 2.5 acres at the northeast corner of Capitan Way and Mesa Vista Way from Ben Troemel for $350,000. Matt Bear represented Omaha Steaks in its 66-month lease of 1,140 square feet at 2192 N. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 102, from Best West for $225,000. Dan Doherty represented both parties in Auto Marine Warehouse's sale of 4,760 square feet at 3150 E. Charleston Blvd. to Harsch Investment Properties for $400,000.
n CB Richard Ellis' Perry Muscelli and Gabe Tellis represented Zimmerman Properties in the purchase of 2.5 acres at the southwest corner of Mohawk Street and Badura Avenue from Gragson-Cactus II Investment for $470,000. Muscelli also represented QEP in the 90-month lease of 111,213 square feet at 1070 Mary Crest Road from Pacific Industrial Park for $3 million. In another transaction, Brad Peterson represented Samrose Center in its five-year lease of 3,045 square feet at 181 Arroyo Grande Blvd., Building B, to Marketing Results of Nevada for $300,000. Peterson also represented Spanish Vista in its five-year lease of 2,412 square feet at 4955 S. Durango Drive to Waterfield Financial for $240,000.
n Grubb & Ellis' Dave Scherer represented Triple L in its five-year lease of 14,200 square feet at 7000 Speedway Blvd. from Las Vegas Industrial Park, represented by Mel Koich of Lee and Associates, for $272,300. In another transaction, Scherer represented Stars Las Vegas in its five-year lease of 5,900 square feet at 300 S. 4th St. from Bridger and Associates, represented by Keith Bassett of Realty Holdings, for $535,000.
n GVA Industrial Property Group's Dean Willmore and Art Farmanali represented Howard L. Reimer in the seven-year lease of a 15,888-square-foot office/warehouse building at 3934 Silvestri Lane to Encompass Services Corp. for $965,748. In another transaction, David Stubbs represented both parties in T-Nes Enterprises' three-year lease of 4,250 square feet at 1655 Mojave Road from Zacharia Lichtenstein for $110,504. Farmanali also represented Aqua Novus in a three-year lease of 4,540 square feet at 3651 Ali Baba Lane from David Klein for $90,000.
