`Shakespeare' in Henderson

The "Nevada Shakespeare in the Park" festival is scheduled to revisit Foxridge Park in Henderson in October.
Three free performances of "Antony and Cleopatra" will be presented.
Performances will be held Oct. 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. and at 6 p.m. on Oct. 8. Mimes, madrigal singers and jugglers will perform one hour prior to each show.
The festival is in its 14th year. Last year's production of "Hamel" drew more than 25,000 people.
Foxridge Park is located on Valle Verde Drive, just north of Warm Springs Road in Green Valley. Limited parking will be available at the Arroyo Grande Sports Complex on Arroyo Grande Boulevard, south of Warm Springs Road. Shuttle bus service to the park will be provided. Attendees are invited to bring blankets and picnic baskets.
The event is made possible through donations and volunteers. For more information or to volunteer, call 566-2681.
Sponsors include the city of Henderson, American Nevada Corp., Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and the Nevada Humanities Committee.
