Sneak preview under way at The Villas
Home buyers are invited to a sneak preview of the model homes at The Villas, a Christopher Homes neighborhood, in the Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley. Priced from the mid-$300,000s to mid-$800,000s, The Villas will comprise 143 homes and seven designs that range from 2,100 to more than 3,300 square feet. Surrounded by the golf course, the neighborhood offers lots with golf course, city and mountain views in addition to cul-de-sac home sites. Sales agent Teresa Tebbs said the neighborhood's official grand opening is set for Sept. 1. "We've seen an incredible level of interest in The Villas and we anticipate a large number of sales upon our upcoming grand opening," Tebbs said. "Based on this interest, we are offering prospective buyers an early opportunity to experience the level of elegance and luxury these homes offer. This is also an optimum time for buyers to take advantage of pre-grand opening pricing and an excellent selection of home sites." Each home will feature a courtyard with an optional fireplace, a backyard terrace, covered patio, granite kitchen counter tops, and a structured wiring system. Front-yard and open space landscaping will be handled through the neighborhood association. Tebbs said buyers have the option of adding another level to their home. "Many of our buyers will want the convenience of a single-story home, while others may want the second level to take maximum advantage of the golf course and city views," she said. "The plans with added second and third stories can incorporate such features as second-floor casitas, covered rear terraces, game rooms or entertaining rooms, secondary master suites, and a number of other possibilities." The builder's in-house design center can assist buyers. Christopher Homes provides each buyer with a social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval. Planned amenities include a guard-gated entry, roving security, concierge services, a sports and fitness center, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a 42,000-square-foot clubhouse. The 220-acre, 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr. and is highlighted by 18 acres of streams, lakes and waterfalls. To visit, take Interstate 15 south to Lake Mead Drive and exit west, following the signs. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
