Summerlin Baseball Clinic

Participants at the first of two baseball clinics, co-hosted by the Las Vegas 51s professional baseball team and The Howard Hughes Corp., play catch with Summerlin Sam, left, mascot of the Summerlin community, and Cosmo, the Las Vegas 51s mascot. The free public event, held at The Trails Park in the master-planned community of Summerlin, was attended by more than 80 children, most of whom were from the Summerlin Little League. The clinic included two hours of instruction from 51s players, lunch, and baseballs and bats autographed by Cosmo and Sam.
