Two-story plan draws buyers to Red Rock

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

Of the more than 120 homes that have been sold since January at Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin, the Acacia Plan 1204 has proved a favorite among buyers.

The two-story home has four bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths and measures 3,451 square feet. It is priced from the low $400,000s.

"Acacia 1204 is one of our most popular plans at Red Rock Country Club," sales director Kevin Stall said. "It starts with a private entry courtyard which leads into the grand foyer and a spiral staircase leading to the second floor, which has an open view to the living room below. The home features a spacious living room, separate dining room and laundry room, and a downstairs bedroom with full bath.

"Upstairs, the master bedroom has a view deck and retreat, dual walk-in closets and oversized bathroom. The home's second and third bedrooms, each with a private bath, are also located upstairs."

Stall said the plan is also attractive to buyers because of its flexibility.

"It can be built with an optional office, optional den and optional fifth bedroom, plus it has the split three-car garage, which is a favorite with our buyers. Families in particular love this plan because of the family room located close to the kitchen and the dining bar."

The island kitchen also features a nook and pantry, and is adjacent to the family room that contains a media niche and fireplace.

The floor plan was recently featured as the community's Home of the Month.

"The Home of the Month is a great opportunity for us to showcase a home that is nearing completion, thereby offering a buyer the opportunity to own a home in the very near future rather than waiting through the entire construction process," Stall said.

Two additional floor plans, both of which are single-story designs, are featured in the Acacia Collection.

Plan 1102 provides three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths in 2,503 square feet. It also has separate living and dining rooms, a kitchen with a nook, family room, courtyard entry, and three-car garage. It is priced from the mid-$300,000s.

Plan 1101 measures 2,155 square feet with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a great room, dining room and kitchen with an adjacent morning room. Outside is a courtyard entry and two-car garage. This plan is priced from the low $300,000s.

The guard-gated community offers four collections of homes that are priced from the $300,000s to more than $2 million. Sunrise Colony Co.'s Sunsation program allows for a variety of customizing options that include minor structural changes, swimming pools, upgraded landscaping, patios and designer lighting.

The community is adjacent to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, and offers amenities such as golf, tennis and swimming.

The first of two 18-hole golf courses is open, as is a practice facility with a double-ended driving range, putting green and chipping areas. The course's terrain includes canyons with 100-foot drops, lakes, waterfalls and streams.

A 44,000-square-foot clubhouse features a golf shop, banquet facilities, a board room and two dining rooms.

Also featured is a tennis center with nine lighted hard-surface courts including a stadium court.

A resort-style aquatic center features a family pool, spa, adults-only pool, lap pool, splash-and-spray mini-park and outdoor grill.

The sports club is equipped with exercise equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a supervised play center.

To tour the models, take Sahara Avenue west past Town Center Drive and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and head west. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Sunrise Colony Co. is also developing Siena, an age-qualified community in Summerlin.
