Kitchens draw chefs at The Preserve
Kitchens are central to the single-story designs at The Preserve, a Rhodes Homes neighborhood in the northwestern valley. "Maybe you can't cook like some of the finest chefs in the world, but our kitchens make you look like a master chef. You wouldn't be able to have a country estate-style home without a ranch-style kitchen," sales agent Sandy Harris said recently. "Our homes are based on the classic Western-ranch home style. Plenty of space, plenty of rooms and (a) quarter-acre lot are what our homes are all about." Homes feature pantries and center islands, and two of the homes include upgraded laminate counter tops. All buyers can qualify for complementary granite counter tops when their home purchase is financed the builder's preferred lender. "We offer everything you need to make your kitchen a world-class culinary studio," Harris said. "Or you can use it to rustle up the hands for a family ranch-style meal." The neighborhood features three models on lots measuring from one-quarter acre to one-half acre. Plan 2975 features three bedrooms, three baths, a den or formal living room, and living and family rooms. The 2,975-square-foot home is priced from the high $270,000s. Plan 3724 offers 3,724 square feet, five bedrooms or four bedrooms plus a den, three baths, living and family rooms, dining room, kitchen nook, and covered front courtyard. The residence is priced from the high $290,000s. Priced from the mid-$340,000s, Plan 4068 comes with six bedrooms or five bedrooms plus a den, three baths, living and family rooms, dining room, kitchen nook, and covered courtyard entry. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, head east to Frontage Road and turn north. Turn right on Elkhorn Road, then go left on Buffalo Drive. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
