Southwest to open fourth neighborhood in The VillagesSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Southwest Homes' three neighborhoods in The Villages at Southern Highlands are nearing closeout, just as the builder is preparing to open its fourth neighborhood at the southwestern valley community. Fewer than 50 homes remain at Setona, Viá Dana and Laurentiá, and Triana is expected to open for presales later this month. It will comprise 163 homes built around a private road with no through traffic. "Triana at Southern Highlands offers buyers a superior selection of new home plans, peace and serenity of a gated community and a gorgeous location," Todd Slusher, president of Southwest Homes, said. "... We have spared no expense to create this intimate neighborhood." Six two-story floor plans are available, measuring from 1,478 to 1,909 square feet. Each home includes a two-car garage and a loft, which in some plans can be converted into an additional bedroom. Other features include ground-mounted air-conditioning, energy-efficient gas heating, superior insulation in walls and ceilings, and insulated dual-pane windows. The interiors showcase vaulted and textured ceilings, raised-panel doors and rounded corners. Custom wood stair railings and art niches are included in select plans. Optional items include extended patios; oak, maple or cherry cabinets; intercom systems; French doors; mirrored wardrobe doors; ceiling fans with lights; and gas fireplaces. Block walls with wrought-iron gates are also included. "We have taken every aspect of day-to-day living into consideration when developing the home plans and the entire neighborhood," Slusher said. "The success of our three existing communities ... proves our ability to listen to and answer homeowner wants and needs." More than 20 neighborhoods by several builders are featured in The Villages. Homes are priced from the $130,000s to the $400,000s. "Southern Highlands has been enjoying record-breaking sales and an influx of buyers this year. In fact, with over 3,000 homes sold to date across The Villages at Southern Highlands, it's no surprise that new neighborhoods are in high demand," said Garry Goett, president of Southern Highlands. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Lake Mead Drive and go west, following the signs. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
