Pulte to sponsor jazz fest

Pulte Homes is a co-sponsor of the Las Vegas Mercury Jazz Festival to be held from 6 p.m. to midnight next Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.

Hosted by Clark County Parks and Community Services, the festival will feature performances by six contemporary and smooth jazz artists. Scheduled to appear are The Rippingtons, Down to the Bone, Kim Waters, Praful, Turning Point and Sacred Groove.

Tickets are $24 in advance and $30 at the door; they can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets. Children younger than 5 will be admitted free.

Blankets and low-back chairs are welcome. Food and beverages will be available for sale.

Pulte, which has been building homes in Southern Nevada since 1992, supports the community by helping sponsor various events and outreach programs.

It offers 22 new-home subdivisions in the valley including Silverstone Ranch and Wyeth Ranch in the northwest; Serenata, Treviso, Pavona and Salerno in Aliante; Miramonte, Escala, Palomar and Cordova in Summerlin; Amber Ridge at Mission Hills and Anthem Highlands in Henderson.
