Eden Ridge features single-story designs

Eden Ridge, a neighborhood within the Willow Creek development in Summerlin, features single-story floor plans from Pulte Homes.

The plans have proved popular due to their designs, construction, energy efficiency and structured wiring package, according to company executive Joe Whatley.

"Home buyers are especially attracted to Eden Ridge due to the large home sites and the exclusivity of the Willow Creek enclave, which features such amenities as a private park with basketball and tennis courts, picnic area, barbecues, children's playground and beautiful walking trails," Whatley said.

All homes are built for energy efficiency and incorporate Environments for Living Platinum Series technology. Energy-efficient features include high-efficiency ground-mounted air conditioning and forced-air gas heat, exterior walls and ceilings with blown-in cellulose insulation, and 75-gallon water heaters.

A structured wiring system is a standard feature, providing Category 5e wiring in all major rooms and several phone/cable outlets and video inputs. Homeowners are able to control all functions of the phones, television and computer from one centralized location.

Other standard amenities include covered patios, stucco eaves, security systems, covered front entries or courtyards, front-yard landscaping, garage door openers, and finished garages with cabinets and workbenches.

The three floor plans range from 3,087 to 3,890 square feet. Design features include turret entries, outdoor fireplaces, casitas and cabanas.

The Savoy floor plan, measuring 3,735 square feet, features a turret entry, four bedrooms, an office, 3 1/2 baths, a living and dining area, a family room, and a kitchen with an island workstation, nook and pantry. The owner suite comes with a bay window, a rear door to the patio, and a bath with a garden tub and separate snail-shaped shower with glass blocks.

The Radcliffe, a 3,087-square-foot design, features three bedrooms, an office or den, 3 1/2 baths, an island kitchen with a nook, formal living room, formal dining room with columns, and a family room with a fireplace. An optional feature is a garden cabana with a full bath.

The Biltmore floor plan measures 3,890 square feet with three bedrooms, a casita, 4 1/2 baths, a three-car garage and an optional cabana. This floor plan includes an island kitchen, a family room with a three-sided fireplace; and an owner suite with dual walk-in closets and vanities, a tub, and separate shower with glass blocks.

Prices start at $429,990.

The builder has select homes with upgrades available for immediate move-in. Features in these homes include garages for as many as four cars, courtyard fireplaces, upgraded flooring, spa tubs, casitas and extended patios. Kitchen upgrades include appliances, granite kitchen counter tops, and cabinetry.

To visit, take Sahara Avenue to Town Center Drive, go south and proceed to Havenwood Lane, following the signs. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Monday when the models open at noon.
