-- Geotechnical & Environmental Services Inc. has appointed Joshua Yoder as an engineering technician to perform inspections on residential mass grading and soil density testing. He also tests and inspects concrete for residential and commercial properties.

The firm also appointed Nilsa Prochniak as staff geologist.

-- TWC Construction has started construction on the final three buildings at Arville Beltway Industrial Park. Located on about 5 acres at Interstate 215 and Arville Street, the park comprises eight office/warehouse buildings. Totaling about 100,000 square feet, the project is valued at more than $4.2 million. It is expected to be complete by year-end 2004.

-- Brian Riffel of Colliers International represented Jo Cornejo in the sale of 1.5 acres at the southwest corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Washington Avenue to Lou Genzano for $320,000. In another transaction, Robert Torres, Scott Gragson and John Kilpatrick represented GKT Acquisitions, Mayo et al in the sale of 2.5 acres at the southeast corner of Hacienda Avenue and El Capitan Way to Glen Smith & Glen for $925,000. Spencer Pinter represented EJM Development Co. in its 60-month lease of 9,898 square feet at 6255 S. Sandhill Road, Suites 1100 and 1200, to Nevada Business Furnishings, represented by Greg Pancirov of Colliers, for $420,612. Daniel J. Doherty and Patti Dillon represented Harsch Investment Properties in its 37-month lease of 2,607 square feet at 900 Warm Springs Road, Suite C-102, to Marketrends Holding Co. for $73,968. Tom Stilley, Lizz Schafer and Taber Thill represented Crescent Real Estate Equities in its 61-month lease of 2,314 square feet at 3960 Howard Hughes Parkway, Suite 100, to Neopost, represented by Jayne Cayton of CB Richard Ellis, for $361,192. David Grant and Scot Marker represented both parties in Trop 5's 20-year lease of 1.07 acres at the northwest corner of Fort Apache Road and Reno Avenue to World Savings Bank for $2.67 million.
