Homes ready at Canyon Mist

The home sites at Canyon Mist Estates are large enough to accommodate patios, swimming pools and putting greens, according to Vicki Zoot, an executive at US Home.

"Most of our home sites even offer RV parking space," she said.

The northwestern valley neighborhood is planned to include a landscaped and gated entry plus walking trails.

Buyers can choose from five single- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 2,550 to 4,500 square feet.

"These are exceptional homes that offer expandable square footage options and a maximum of interior design flexibility," Zoot said. "In fact, buyers have an almost unlimited selection of options for both the interior and exterior of their new home.

Three floor plans are single story.

The 2,550-square-foot Brentwood provides four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It can be expanded to 3,070 square feet; the Phoenician can measure from 3,184 to 3,384 square feet; and the Camelback, which features extensive use of glass, measures 3,719 square feet and can be expanded to more than 3,900 square feet.

All offer a front porch leading to a formal foyer, and a versatile kitchen.

"These are eat-in, live-in, entertain-in kitchens that you can dress up or dress down depending on your own personal tastes," Zoot said. "They have extensive counter work space, a walk-in pantry, bar counter seating, rich oak cabinetry in a wide variety of finishes, and options such as a built-in desk. The two-story designs are the San Clemente, which provides formal living areas with 19-foot ceilings; and the Coronado, which offers an optional courtyard entry. As many as seven bedrooms are available.

Master bedrooms, per plan, include dual walk-in closets, fireplaces, entertainment centers and wet bars. The master baths offer dual-sink vanities, built-in dressing tables, and separate glass-enclosed showers and oval tubs or optional spa tubs.

The homes are priced from the $600,000s.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. From I-215, go east to Jones Boulevard, head north to Elkhorn Road and follow the signs.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
