Residences' design based upon turnkey lifestyle

The fully furnished condominiums at The Residences at MGM Grand provide a low-maintenance lifestyle ideal for second-home buyers, according to Dan Riordan, sales director.

"The Residences provides a turnkey lifestyle of convenience where they can live part-time or year-round and come and go as they please," he said.

"Many people are opting to use their residence as a second or vacation home and plan to invite their family and friends to visit."

The complex will comprise three 40-story towers and 576 total units. Each tower will have 24-hour front desk and concierge services, in-suite dining and a guarded security entrance. Amenities also include fitness centers and swimming pool complexes.

Three floor plans are available. The studio unit measures 600 square feet; the one-bedroom home is sized at 1,000 square feet, and the two-bedroom residence measures 1,600 square feet.

Interiors showcase crown moldings, raised-panel wood doors, high-speed Internet, granite counter tops, imported Italian kitchen cabinetry, and private owners' closets. Upgraded appliances, spa tubs and flat-screen HDTVs are also standard.

Prices start from $600,000 to more than $2.5 million.

The project is a joint venture between MGM Mirage and developer Turnberry Ltd. It is located at the northeast end of the hotel's property and offers homeowners access to the resort's amenities, which include an outdoor pool complex with private cabanas and a spa.

The first tower is scheduled for completion in May.

The sales office inside the hotel's Studio Walk features a furnished two-bedroom model. It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
