Builder reports sales at Southern Highlands

Southwest Homes has sold more than 160 homes since opening neighborhoods last August at The Villages at Southern Highlands.

"We have taken every aspect of day-to-day living into consideration when developing our communities," Todd Slusher, president of Southwest Homes, said. "We think you will agree that our communities with this gorgeous location are the most desirable neighborhoods for you and your family to call home."

The builder is offering two neighborhoods in the southwestern valley community -- Via Dana and Laurentia.

Homes at Via Dana range from 1,270 to 2,458 square feet and are priced from the $140,000s. Standard features include enclosed back yards, maple cabinetry, gas fireplaces, 9-foot ceilings and custom wood stair railings.

Ranging from 2,665 to more than 4,400 square feet, Laurentia offers single- and two-story homes with as many as six bedrooms. Prices start from the $200,000s. Among the standard features are granite counter tops, first-floor owner suites, three-car garages, enclosed courtyards and laundry chutes.

The builder will open its Setona neighborhood for presales in May. The neighborhood will offer homes ranging from 1,655 to 3,126 square feet and priced from the $150,000s.

The Villages of Southern Highlands offers several neighborhoods constructed by different builders, priced from the $120,000s to $400,000s.

The community features more than 40 acres of parks, more than 100 acres of open space. Trails and a village center are planned.

To visit the community, take Interstate 15 south to Lake Mead Drive and go west, following the signs.

Models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
