San Michelle showcases final phase

Christopher Homes is offering buyers at its San Michelle neighborhood the choice of purchasing a home ready for move-in or a customized home built to their specifications, according to sales agent Cheryl Lee.

"Christopher Homes tries to have a few homes that can be ready for move-in within a short time frame at all of our new neighborhoods," she said. "This is in response to the demands of the luxury-home market, where homes often take at least five months to build, while the buyers need to move in as soon as possible."

The Queensridge neighborhood in the northwestern valley offers single- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 3,474 to more than 5,200 square feet. The lots, some of which overlook the Badlands Golf Club, measure from one-quarter acre to half an acre.

Prices start from the high $500,000s.

Customizing options such as elevators, courtyard fireplaces, wine cellars, casitas, secondary owner suites, extra bedrooms and baths, bonus rooms, libraries, and wet bars are available.

Lee said San Michelle began as an 81-home neighborhood and expanded when the builder purchased an additional 40 home sites in Queensridge North. She said during the final phase, only seven of the neighborhood's 121 homes are available.

An on-site architectural designer and an interior designer are available to aid home buyers with design selections.

To visit, take Charleston Boulevard west, past Rampart Boulevard, and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Wednesday, when it is closed.
