European architecture highlights Vineyards
Driving through the guard-gated entry into the Vineyards neighborhood in Summerlin is reminiscent of entering a European villa with landscaping, a linear park and fountain plaza, according to Karen Gaines, a sales agent for builder Christopher Homes. "Home buyers are attracted to Vineyards for many reasons, including the upscale tone of the residential designs and the exceptionally wide range of customizing choices," Gaines said. "In designing Vineyards, Christopher Homes placed an emphasis on quality over quantity. Providing beautiful fountain plazas, open space areas and larger home sites meant fewer homes could be built in this neighborhood. The result is a more intimate enclave of homes, where residents can enjoy all of the indoor comforts, while taking great pride in their outdoor environment as well." According to Gaines, 101 of its 138 homes have been sold, where one- and two-story designs are priced from the high $300,000s. Ranging from 3,072 to more than 5,000 square feet, the homes are built on lots measuring from one-quarter acre to one-third acre in The Arbors village. The floor plans incorporate motor courts, balconies, courtyards with fireplaces, and hundreds of design options, such as casitas, secondary owner suites, extra bedrooms and baths, bonus rooms, libraries, and wet bars. "Vineyards is situated at an elevation of more than 3,000 feet in one of the highest areas of Summerlin," Gaines said. "Comprehensive land planning enabled Christopher Homes to maximize view potential for our homeowners and the terraced nature of the home sites provide enhanced privacy in many cases." Three architectural styles are featured: French Provincial with high-pitched roofs; Monterey with shake-style roofs, shutters and porches; and an Italian-Mediterranean design. Home buyers may consult with the builder's architectural designers and in-house design center to select floor plan variations and upgrades. To visit, take Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive and turn south. Turn right on Hualapai Way and proceed to Laurelglen Drive. The model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
