Del Webb Corp. announces promotion
-- Del Webb Corp. promoted Sean M. Patrick to regional director of public affairs. In his new post, Patrick oversees media, government and community relations for the company's communities in Nevada and California. Also, the developer started construction on Fire Station 99 in Henderson. The 1.75-acre site at Anthem Parkway and Atchley Street was donated to the city by the developer. Completion is expected by early next year. Also, the developer donated $4,000 to Foothill High School for the purchase of books. -- The Southern Nevada Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties celebrated its 15th anniversary with a fund-raiser for the Las Vegas Art Museum. Sponsored by Martin-Harris Construction and Insight Holdings, the event raised more than $2,000. -- Colliers International's Spencer Pinter represented EJM Development in its five-year lease of 4,800 square feet at 6295 S. Pearl St., Suite 1100, to the Siemens-Cerberus Division, represented by David Afromsky, for $285,972. Pinter and Michael DeLew represented Weststate Land in its five-year lease of 4,315 square feet at 7260 S. Industrial Road to Piper Products, represented by Afromsky, for $179,278. Pat Marsh, Dan Doherty and David Frear represented Vegas Ventures in its 37-month lease of 3,051 square feet at 4020 W. Ali Baba Lane, Unit A, to Tomcat USA, for $94,234. Doherty, Brian Pankratz and Jennifer English represented Sunset Vista Professional Park in its purchase of 8,382 square feet at 16 TV 5 Drive from Green Valley Capital for $805,000. Matt Bear represented World Jewelry, Diamonds and Coin Exchange in its five-year lease of 1,400 square feet at 7260 W. Lake Mead Blvd., Suite 5, from Tenaya Center for $175,000. The transactions are valued collectively at more than $7.2 million.
