Bear's Best Opens In Summerlin

The 10th hole at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bear's Best Las Vegas replicates the 10th hole at the golfer's signature PGA West golf course in Palm Springs, Calif. Nicklaus was in The Ridges village in Summerlin last week to mark the official opening of Bear's Best. The Ridges, a 752-acre village surrounding the new golf course, currently offers Promontory, where custom lots measure from one-half acre to three-quarters of an acre and are priced from the high $300,000s to more than $1 million. The village's first single-family home neighborhood, Topaz Ridge, offers floor plans ranging from 3,620 to 4,182 square feet and priced from the high $400,000s.
