KB Home includes home buyers in construction process
Jimmy and Carol Patton have moved in at KB Home`s Lone Mountain Heights neighborhood in northwest Las Vegas. The builder met with them during every step of the construction process, and the Pattons were delighted with the effort. "We have purchased four homes over the past 20 years," Jimmy Patton said. "Even though they were projects we were paying for, we were never invited to participate in the process." The building consultation, which is offered to all KB Home buyers, started with a pre-construction orientation where the Pattons met with their sales person and the superintendent who oversees construction. Items discussed included personalized features and a review of the building process. The Pattons chose the Pinnacle floor plan for its open design. Lone Mountain Heights offers one- and two-story homes that measure from 2,022 to 4,035 square feet. Prices start from the $220,000s. To visit, take Cheyenne Avenue to Durango Drive and turn right, then turn left on Alexander Road, past Jensen, to the site behind the mountain. From Interstate 215, take Cheyenne and head east, then turn left on Grand Canyon Drive and left on Alexander to the site behind the mountain. The builder also offers "one-stop" shopping at its KB Home Studio located at 7440 South Industrial Road, Suite 201, just south of the Warm Springs Road intersection. A full-service mortgage company, KB Home Mortgage, is located next door.
