COLUMN: Coldwell Banker Commercial reports sales figures



-- Coldwell Banker Commercial affiliates reported a record $10.1 billion in sales volume in 2001 resulting from 25,000 transactions, a 119 percent increase in volume from the $5.5 billion the company reported in 2000.

-- CB Richard Ellis in Phoenix; and Christina Roush, Charles Moore and Geoff West of CB Richard Ellis' Las Vegas office, represented CPSEIO of Newport Beach, Calif., in its sale of a 204,123-square-foot office building at 2716 N. Tenaya Way to Health Care Property Investors for $45 million.

-- The GVA Industrial Property Group's Bill Walsh represented Silver State Fireplaces in its five-year lease of 10,000 square feet at 3555 W. Quail Ave. from Albright Callister & Associates for $304,134. In another transaction, Art Farmanali represented Tracy Industries in its three-year lease of 6,720 square feet at 1660 Helm Drive from EJM Development Co. for $139,752. Xavier Wasiak and Kim Friedman represented SandPost in its three-year lease of 2,160 square feet at 6330 S. Sandhill Road to TAC Office Products for $65,030.

-- Lee and Associates' David Flynn and Charles W. Witters represented Longford Plaza in its 84-month lease of 6,928 square feet at 3137 E. Warm Springs Road to Facility for $1.2 million. Flynn and Witters also represented Glenborough Reality Trust in its 24-month lease of 1,037 square feet at 3900 Paradise Road to Papillon Airways for $50,000. Scott Owens and Mel Koich represented both parties in Speedway Commerce Center's 36-month lease of 13,973 square feet at 6975 Speedway Blvd., Suite D-103, to Patriot Racing for $183,095. Owens and Koich again represented the Speedway Commerce Center in its 36-month lease of 10,229 square feet at 6855 Speedway Blvd., Suite O-101, to Slater Transfer and Storage for $126,315. Owens and Koich again represented Speedway Commerce Center in its 36-month lease of 5,607 square feet at 6867 Speedway Blvd., Suite R-104, to Northwest Landscape Construction for $72,052.

-- CB Richard Ellis' Darren Lemmon represented High Tech Institute in its six-year lease of 11,340 square feet at 2320 Rancho Drive from Sahara Rancho for $1.6 million. Lemmon also represented IRP Legacy Convention Center Associates in its three-year lease of 2,888 square feet at 101 Convention Center Drive to AEGIS Mortgage Corp. for $185,000. Steven Terry represented Auto Title Loan Store in its five-year lease of 1,380 square feet at 727 N. Nellis Blvd. from The Management Team for $130,000. Kevin Higgins represented Prologis Trust in its three-year lease of 39,100 square feet at 140 Cassia Way to Crescent Cardboard Co. for $490,000.

-- E. Thomas Naseef of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented Tajiri Trust in its purchase of 14,170 square feet at 7350 W. Cheyenne Ave. from TLC Enterprises, represented by Pat Ciaverella of Nevada Land, for $2.6 million. Naseef and Brian Cahane represented Glenborough Realty in its five-year lease of 20,531 square feet at 3265 Palm Center Drive to Fisk Electric, represented by Sam Scaletta, for $784,813.

-- Ross Burnett of Business Properties Group represented the company in its five-year lease of 7,002 square feet at 1111 Mary Crest Road, Suite H, in Henderson to Ivox for $490,564. Burnett also represented the company in its three-year lease of 1,200 square feet at 245 N. Stephanie St., Suite A, in Henderson to Hertz Car Rental for $83,018.

-- Soozi Jones Walker of Realty Executives of Nevada represented R&R Plaza in its 60-month lease of 3,500 square feet at 8080 W. Sahara Ave., Suite D, to Rodney and Kay E. Walters for $334,775.

-- Colliers International's Tom Stilley, Lizz Schafer and Jayne Cayton represented The Howard Hughes Corp. in its 36-month lease of 1,404 square feet at 3800 Howard Hughes Parkway to Searle, also represented by Cayton, for $125,287. Scott Gragson, John Kilpatrick and Robert Torres represented GKT 4 in its purchase of 5 acres at the northeast corner of Tomsik Street and Badura Avenue from Alned/Johnson/ Parkinson for $900,000.
