Four lots remain at Promontory in Summerlin
Four half-acre home sites are available at Promontory, the first custom-home neighborhood located in The Ridges in Summerlin. One home site, priced at $679,000, offers golf course frontage on Bear's Best Las Vegas, the Jack Nicklaus-designed course that serves as the village's centerpiece. The other three home sites are priced from $559,000 to $612,000. "With only four of 54 total home sites remaining, Promontory's early and strong success is a testament of its appeal," said Larry Brocato, executive vice president of The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of the Summerlin master-planned community. "As beautiful and interesting custom homes are beginning to take shape at Promontory, the community is emerging as one of the most desirable places to live in the Las Vegas Valley." Architecture of the homes is horizontal in nature, according to Brocato. "Homes in The Ridges are designed to blend with and complement the area's natural surroundings," he said. The Ridges is at an elevated location at the western end of Desert Inn Road, west of Interstate 215. It is situated adjacent to the Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The Ridges is a guard-gated community, while Promontory features an electronic gate and a private park with a barbecue area and pavilion. "The Ridges' mountain, valley and golf course views, coupled with its secluded location and phenomenal amenities, make it a truly special place," Brocato said. "It's ideal for those seeking luxury and elegance in a natural environment." Residents have access to the community's parks, trails, golf courses, schools, shopping centers, houses of worship, and cultural and medical facilities. According to independent surveys, Summerlin has ranked as the nation's best-selling master-planned community 10 of the past 11 years. Custom-home sites in The Ridges measure from one-half acre and are priced from the $500,000s to more than $1 million. Custom homes start at about $2.1 million. To visit the custom-lot sales center, travel west on Desert Inn Road until it ends in The Ridges and turn left. The building is on the right. The center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
