Solera models near completion



The models for Solera at Anthem are nearing completion, according to Don Wright, lead construction superintendent.

"We have completed the finish work on the models, such as cabinets, kitchen counter tops and tile," he said. "The carpeting and other flooring is being installed now, and the finish grading and cobblestone street paving will be done by early May."

The age-qualified development in Henderson will have 1,750 homes at buildout.

"These home plans include many items that would be options at other communities, such as ceramic-tile flooring and Corian kitchen counter tops. With fewer option selections to make, buying is fast and easy," sales manager R. Wayne Wermuth said.

Other amenities include integrated wiring, low-e windows and a cocoon insulation system that exceeds requirements set by the Energy Star program.

Plans for the development include a fitness center, swimming pool, club and hobby rooms, billiard tables, tennis courts, computer and craft rooms, and bocce.

"I was so impressed with this community, and so sure it would be a success that my wife Dawn and I bought the first house," Wright said. "We are excited to be part of the Solera at Anthem community."

The Wrights said they also love the location near Black Mountain.

They purchased the Whitney model, which features two bedrooms, two baths, a great room and den in 1,591 square feet.

"I especially like the big open concept of this home," she said. "It's more personal for dinner parties to have a great room close to the kitchen. And the closet in the master bedroom is fabulous."

Other floor plans include the Lewis, which measures 1,140 square feet and offers two bedrooms, two baths and a great room. The Clark floor plan measures 1,242 square feet with three bedrooms or two bedrooms and a den, two baths, a living room and dining room. The Franklin plan at 1,771 square feet features three bedrooms, two baths, a great room and dining room.

Prices start from $167,600 to $216,300.

To visit the presales office, take Eastern Avenue south, past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway, turn left and proceed to 2246 Somersworth Drive, which is across from a fire station.

It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
