Nevada Trails' lifestyle attracts buyers

Tree-lined sidewalks, lush landscaping and a 10-acre park under construction add to the lifestyle of families who live in Nevada Trails in the southwestern valley, according to Ray Landry, assistant vice president of sales for Pardee Homes of Nevada, the community's developer.

"When completed, Nevada Trails will include more than 23 acres of parks and trails. In addition to that, there are several recreation sites planned for the nearby area, including golf courses and a major regional park," Landry said.

Located near the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Rainbow Boulevard, the new park will include basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, playing fields, an exercise track and picnic shelters. Pardee is constructing the park in cooperation with the Clark County Parks and Recreation Department.

Three neighborhoods, showcased by 11 models, are offered within the community.

The gated Saddle Peak neighborhood features single-story designs priced from $277,700. Three floor plans ranging from 2,565 to 3,025 square feet have as many as five bedrooms, three baths and three-car garages.

Amenities include courtyard entries, island kitchens and a variety of options such as courtyard fireplaces, sunrooms, secondary master suites and home offices.

A new phase of homes will be released next weekend at the Silver Tree neighborhood, where homes range from 2,000 to 3,844 square feet. Four designs, priced from $230,950, offer as many as seven bedrooms, four baths and two- and three-car garages.

Additional features include formal living and dining rooms, and family or great rooms, while options such as guest suites, super bonus rooms, secondary master suites and workshops are available.

The Manzanita neighborhood features four floor plans ranging from 1,414 to 2,566 square feet. Designs offer as many as five bedrooms, two to three baths, and two- and three-car garages, and are priced from $186,950.

All homes are designed and built for energy efficiency. They have earned the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star label and the ComfortWise designation, developed by ConSol energy consultants, certifying they are at least 30 percent more energy efficient than standard homes.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Rainbow Boulevard, go one mile south to Robindale Road and turn right. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.

Pardee has built homes for more than 25,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
