Newlyweds put faith in Del Webb



Newlyweds Bryce and Ann Alberts put their faith in each other's judgement and Del Webb's reputation when they purchased a home at Sun City Aliante.

The two began searching for a new home after marrying in October.

"I have lived in northwest Las Vegas since 1978, so I am very fond of the area," Ann Alberts said. "We kept seeing road signs for Sun City Aliante, but didn't know its physical location ..."

Upon visiting the sales office to get more information, Bryce Alberts learned about "an incentive that day on a particular field model. I called Ann at work to tell her about the community and ask if she had enough faith to let me buy a home without her even seeing it. She said `I trust you,'" Bryce Alberts said.

That evening, they returned to the North Las Vegas community so she could see where her new home would be built.

"I love it. It is a good investment and is in a great part of the neighborhood, away from traffic. My brother lives at Sun City MacDonald Ranch, so we are aware of Del Webb's reputation for quality homes," Ann Alberts said.

The Alberts purchased a Heather model. The 1,155-square-foot home has two bedrooms, two baths, a great room and a covered rear patio.

"We really liked the kitchen design in this model. The covered patio and well-designed front entry were also big selling points for us," Bryce Alberts said.

The Alberts said they look forward to moving into their new home. Bryce Alberts enjoys golf and plans to spend his time on the community's city-operated course. Ann Alberts plans to swim, exercise and join a ceramics group.

Sun City Aliante is the age-qualified component of the Aliante master-planned community. It is being built around an 18-hole, 6,900-yard, par-72 golf course. Additional amenities will include a recreation center with tennis and bocce courts, swimming pool, and club and hobby rooms.

Prices start from $160,600 to $240,100.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Frontage Road, turn right and go to Interstate 215. Head east to Aliante Parkway, then go north.

The sales office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
