Lifestyle at Aliante delights family
Brad and Melissa Ervin found the perfect home and outdoor environment for their family of four at the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas. "We looked all over town, starting in the southeast valley then south toward Boulder City," said Brad Ervin, who works in the construction industry. "During the course of our search, we became familiar with KB Home neighborhoods, and I was impressed by the quality of construction I saw in their homes." Melissa Ervin said they were also impressed by the community's recreational amenities. "Brad plays golf, and we enjoy lots of other outdoor activities as a family," she said. "The golf course, parks, walking trails and even the views from this community are all very beautiful." The Ervins chose the Tuscan model in KB's San Destin Tivoli neighborhood. "The Tuscan design has a family-oriented floor plan that fits our lifestyle perfectly," Brad Ervin said. "We like the two-story design, the large kitchen and family room and the formal living and dining rooms. It's a great floor plan for family living and entertaining. We do a lot of cooking and enjoy having guests over, especially around the holidays. This home gives us all the space we need," Brad Ervin said. Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Corp. The 1,905-acre community will comprise main and age-qualified villages and as many as 7,500 homes. In addition to KB, D.R. Horton, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes are building in the main village, while Del Webb is developing the age-qualified Sun City Aliante. Homes are priced from the $180,000s to the $500,000s. About one-fourth of the community is designated for recreational and public purposes including the municipal Aliante Golf Club, three city parks, trails and an arroyo. A fire station recently opened. Plans call for two elementary schools, a middle school, and about 100 acres of commercial development including a 40-acre resort with gaming. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go south. The sales center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
