Commuters buy into juhl lifestyle

Central location, low maintenance make unit perfect fit for couple

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

The excitement of living in downtown Las Vegas and the low-maintenance homeownership at juhl proved the perfect combination for Mike and Cindy Studer. Their lives revolve around work and commuting between San Diego and Las Vegas.

"juhl will be the perfect fit for our lifestyle," Cindy Studer said. "We commute most weekends, so a maintenance-free home is a must. The building is going to be beautiful and the downtown location is amazing, allowing me to walk to work when necessary."

San Diego-based CityMark Development is the developer of the mid-rise, mixed-use project, located at the corner of Bonneville Avenue and Fourth Street.

Residences are available in a variety of buildings of varying heights and facades. More than 100 floor plans are available, ranging from 600 to 2,500 square feet in one- and two-story designs.

"We chose an amazing two-bedroom townhome with a second bedroom and bath on the entry level, which is nicely separated from the main living area downstairs," Studer said.

"This is going to be a great place for a home office. I am already picturing us settled in, working from home and enjoying quiet moments outside on our patio overlooking the landscaped pool deck and walking path. We're thrilled that our home is one of a handful with its own private poolside patio."

Prices start from the high $200,000s.

juhl features customizable loft styling with optional walls to meet the needs of each home buyer. Additionally, the lofts feature 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, energy-efficient air conditioning and heating, high-speed Internet access, Grohe plumbing fixtures and private balconies. The kitchens are equipped with granite counters, maple cabinetry and stainless steel appliances.

Plans for the common areas include a two-story fitness center, a landscaped rooftop courtyard with a pool and spa, a gated parking structure, and 24,000 square feet of retail space. The property is within walking distance of several downtown attractions, including restaurants, galleries and night spots.

To visit the information studio, take Interstate 15 to Charleston Boulevard, head east to Grand Central Parkway, go north to Bonneville then east to 255 E. Bonneville Ave. The office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Mondays, when it opens at noon.
