Sun City Anthem club geared toward bikers

Residents of Del Webb Corp.'s Sun City Anthem in Henderson not only can choose from myriad activities like dances and fun runs, they can also join one of the age-qualified community's many clubs.

"Whether our residents are looking for financial advice or to fulfill their artistic side, there is a club that will fit their desires," Karla Pearson-Call, activities director, said.

Biking enthusiast Leonard Grossman and his wife, Sheila, have enjoyed the community's club activities and recreational amenities since becoming residents a few years ago.

"We belong to the golf club, play table tennis, and swim, and I am involved in the Excell senior program at the University of Las Vegas," Leonard Grossman said. "I love biking and decided to start the biking club about a year ago."
