Christopher provides customizing options in Southern Highlands

Home buyers can choose from several design options, four elevations and 12 color palettes at The Christopher Collection at Southern Highlands, according to sales agent Terri Pickering.

The neighborhood is located within the guard-gated Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley and features 15 designs, measuring from about 3,000 to 6,200 square feet. Prices range from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million.

"Home buyers at The Christopher Collection have the luxury of creating their own customized dream home, thanks to a number of unique benefits provided by Christopher Homes," Pickering said.

"As an example, we include a $25,000 allowance in the base price that is specifically for customizing options. This allows the buyer to be the decision maker in terms of which elegant features they wish to incorporate in their home. We also offer the finest of customizing features among our various residential designs, including elevators, detached casitas, wine cellars, fireside courtyards and much more."

Available are five single-story plans; two two-story residences with main-level master suites; and eight two-story plans with upstairs master suites Each home includes a stainless steel appliance package, oak or maple cabinetry, and granite counter tops.

Home sites average about one-quarter acre, and most align the golf course.

According to Pickering, a few homes are available for 30-day move-in, including a van Gogh design. The 4,600-square-foot golf course home includes front-yard landscaping, a swimming pool, two spas, covered patios, and marble and granite surfaces in the kitchen and baths. Its master suite has an adjoining exercise room with a stairway leading to the courtyard, and there are two secondary bedrooms with private baths and a home office or den.

Christopher Homes is also building courtyard homes, ranging from about 2,100 to 3,300 square feet and priced from the high $300,000s, at The Villas in the Southern Highlands Golf Club.

The homes feature backyard terraces, optional courtyard fireplaces, and the option of expanding one-story plans to two stories and the two-story design to three stories. Landscaping of the front yards and open space are handled through the neighborhood association.

Both neighborhoods offer home sites with views of the fairways, city and mountains and access to the Southern Highlands Golf Club. Amenities include roving security, concierge services, a planned sports and fitness center, swimming pool, and 42,000-square-foot clubhouse.

The enclave is located on the southern edge of the 2,300-acre Southern Highlands community.

To visit, take Interstate 15 south to Lake Mead Drive and exit west, following the signs. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
