Talavera homes ready for move-in
Homes are available for immediate move-in at Pardee's Talavera neighborhood in Eldorado Highlands, according to company sales director Rob Tuvell. "These homes represent a great value in a great neighborhood," Tuvell said. Homes measure from 1,383 to 2,296 square feet. There are four one- and two-story plans with three to five bedrooms, family rooms, formal living rooms and island kitchens in most plans. Additional features, per plan, include dens, lofts, extra bedrooms and three-car garages. Prices start from $137,450 to $176,950. All homes are built with Energy Star-certified technology, which reduces heating-and-cooling costs by at least 30 percent. "Pardee Homes recently became the first large builder in the country to make the commitment that all of its new homes comply with the EPA's Energy Star program," Tuvell said. "It's part of Pardee's commitment to the environment, and also demonstrates our corporate mission to build homes for the way families really want to live." The model homes are on display in the Eldorado Highlands model park across from the 22-acre Seastrand Park in North Las Vegas. The model park also features eight homes from the Fontana and Mandevilla neighborhoods. The Eldorado community includes an elementary school, Seastrand and Eldorado parks and a fire station. To visit, travel north on Camino al Norte from Craig Road. Follow the road until it becomes Camino Eldorado then follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m. Pardee Homes has built more than 25,000 homes in Southern Nevada in the past 50 years.
