US Home's options promo ends soon
US Home is sailing along in 2002 with record sales, due in part to its "$10,000 in Options for Just $1,000" promotion, according to executive Vicki Zoot. "This has been one of our most successful marketing programs. Every home buyer has a `wish list' of optional extras they want to add to personalize their new home," Zoot said. "Our $10,000 in Options program, which ends on April 30, gives them the opportunity to do exactly that. Rather than offer free upgrades on specific items, this program lets the buyer make their own decision about which upgrades they want. And the response has been extraordinary. "Our buyers arrive at our design center with a $9,000 credit. That's a nice bonus, on top of the extensive list of standard upgrade features we already include in our homes," Zoot said. The promotion is available at all of the builder's neighborhoods and at its custom properties, and is tied to the use of US Home's lender or cash. "Over and above the $10,000 in Upgrades promotion ... are the homes themselves. You can have the best promotion in the world, and if your home designs and level of quality don't add up to a great value to the home buyer, nothing else really matters. And that is where I think US Home shines," Zoot said. "Our home designs are open and airy with spacious living areas for family and for entertaining. Each home offers a selection of interior design options that are flexible enough to meet almost everyone's needs. I call it the `livability' factor. Not only are the homes beautiful, spacious and luxurious, they are comfortable, too. The floor plans modify to fit your lifestyle. That's why we can have a retired couple and a growing family of five purchasing the same 4,500-square-foot model home, and yet it works perfectly for both." Standard features at several of the builder's neighborhoods include granite kitchen counter tops, ceramic-tile entries, cultured-marble vanities, ceramic-tile shower surrounds, kitchen appliances and oak cabinetry. Design options include a den or home office, bonus room, additional or fewer bedrooms and baths, and expanded square footage. The builder is constructing neighborhoods throughout the valley. In Henderson, Palazzo Monte features a Seven Hills locale, four floor plans ranging from 2,550 to 4,500 square feet, and prices from the high $200,000s. Aberdeen at Southern Highlands is a gated neighborhood in the southwestern valley with home sites as large as one-quarter acre and designs measuring from 2,500 to 4,500 square feet. The neighborhood is in presales and is priced from the $270,000s. Two southwestern valley neighborhoods are nearing the final phase. Stillwater Canyon offers 70X110 home sites, nine floor plans measuring from 2,550 to 4,200 square feet, and prices starting from the $250,000s. Palomino Canyon is priced from the $170,000s with four designs ranging from 1,496 to 2,659 square feet. In the northwestern valley, Steeplechase offers home sites as large as one-half acre, a gated entry and 12 designs. Single-story plans range from 2,550 to 3,900 square feet, and two-story homes measure up to 4,500 square feet with seven bedrooms. Pre-sale pricing starts from the mid-$270,000s. Copperfield also is located in the northwest and features a park, nine designs ranging from 2,167 to 4,200 square feet, and prices starting from the $217,000s.
