Sales soar in initial release of Del Webb's Solera at Anthem

Sales for the newest Del Webb age-qualified community, Solera at Anthem, soared during its first weeks, according to sales manager R. Wayne Wermuth.

"We posted more than 50 sales on the initial release," Wermuth said. "Affordable homes with the active-adult lifestyle are in hot demand."

The community is located within the Anthem master-planned community in Henderson. Proposed amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, clubs, billiard tables, tennis courts, computer and craft rooms, and bocce.

The homes are built with energy-saving features that exceed Energy Star requirements, including integrated wiring, low-e windows and cocoon insulation.

According to Wermuth, the home-buying process is streamlined and the homes feature a high level of included items.

"Having fewer option selections has proven a popular aspect for home buyers," Wermuth said. "It makes buying a home fast and easy."

Four plans are available, and are priced from the high $160,000s to mid-$200,000s.

The Lewis plan measures 1,140 square feet and offers two bedrooms, two baths, a great room and covered patio.

Measuring 1,242 square feet, the Clark design has three bedrooms, two baths, a living room, dining room and covered patio.

The Whitney design offers 1,591 square feet and features two bedrooms, two baths, a den, great room and covered patio.

Featuring three bedrooms and two baths is the Franklin. The 1,771-square-foot home also includes a great room, dining room, kitchen nook and patio.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south to Anthem Parkway, turn left and proceed to 2246 Somersworth Drive, which is across from the fire station. The office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
