Sagewood releases last phase
The last phase of homes is set for release this weekend at Sagewood, a neighborhood in the Rancho Las Palmas community, according to Ray Landry, an executive with Pardee Homes of Nevada. "This is the last chance for families looking for their perfect home in a convenient location at an attractive price in a family-oriented community," Landry said. Five floor plans, with two- or three-car garages, are available. The single-story Plan One comes with three bedrooms, two baths, a great room, and an island kitchen in 1,383 square feet, plus a two-car garage. Plan Two, also a single-story design, offers four bedrooms or three bedrooms and a den, two baths, and an angular-shaped kitchen in 1,718 square feet. In 2,442 square feet, the two-story Plan Three includes four bedrooms, three baths, a bonus room, second-floor laundry room and two-car garage. Plan Four can measure as large as 2,296 square feet in a two-story design with four or five bedrooms, an optional den, 2 3/4 baths and a three-car garage. With its laundry room and linen closet upstairs, the Plan Five offers an optional downstairs guest room and third bath, or a den with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a bonus room in 2,557 square feet. Kitchens feature ceramic-tile counter tops, oak cabinetry, island workstations in most plans, pantries and appliances in a choice of colors. Other features include high ceilings, ceramic-tile or parquet entry flooring, raised-panel doors, and cultured-marble counter tops in all baths. Master suites offer walk-in closets, dual sinks, enclosed toilets, and separate tubs and showers in plans Four and Five. All homes meet Energy Star standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency, and exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent. Prices start from $182,450 to $228,250. The community features an elementary school and the 8-acre Hidden Palms Park, which features ball fields; basketball, volleyball and tennis courts; pedestrian trails; and covered picnic areas. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Windmill Lane and turn right. Turn left at Bermuda Road, cross Pebble Road, and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m. Pardee has built more than 25,000 homes in Southern Nevada since 1952.
