-- Pardee Homes has promoted Kathy Hilty from marketing manager to director of marketing for Las Vegas. Her responsibilities include oversight for regional marketing, public relations, advertising and market research. Hilty has introduced 27 new neighborhoods and sales centers locally and is preparing to introduce another 12 this year.

-- Penny Mendlovic, a retail specialist for NAI Horizon Commercial Real Estate, was presented with the 2004 Goodwill Business Partner Award by Goodwill of Southern Nevada at the agency's 2004 Community Recognition Reception.

-- Colours Inc. has been hired in conjunction with JMA Architecture Studios to coordinate the interior design for SoHo Lofts, a high-rise residential development to be built in Las Vegas.

-- LaPour Partners appointed Glenda Failla to be director of construction. She is responsible for coordinating the construction of tenant and shell building development. Failla previously served as construction manager at the Jackson Shaw Co. LaPour Partners also appointed Chet Yarbrough to be director of development. He is responsible for overseeing and managing all project development from feasibility through vertical construction. Before joining the company, Yarbrough was associated with firms in New Jersey, Oregon, Washington and Texas.

-- Grubb & Ellis' David Scherer, Barton Hyde and Kent Johns represented WXI/MCN Commercial Real Estate in three leases at 1771 E. Flamingo Road: 36 months in Suite 120B to Rogers Benefit Insurance Services of Nevada, represented by Tamara Kennedy, for $52,733; 62 months in Suite 125B to Sierra Financial Services for $199,581; 63 months in Suite 211A to NBTY, represented by James Taylor, for $180,763.

-- Ed Bassford of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented College Park Realty in its 60-month lease of 2,400 square feet at 3575 E. Lake Mead Blvd. to 7-11 for $342,720. In another transaction, Michael Tabeek represented Silver State Schools Credit Union in its 60-month lease of 1,412 square feet at 7345 S. Durango Drive, Building B, Suite 110, from Nigro Development, represented by Shelley Magnuson, for $190,620.

-- CB Richard Ellis' Brad Peterson and Randy Broadhead represented Cardiovascular Consultants of Nevada in a five-year lease of 8,903 square feet at 2300 Corporate Circle to Distinctive Realty for $837,000. Broadhead also represented Howard Hughes Properties in two sales at 10000 W. Charleston Blvd.: 7.12 acres to Business Bank of Nevada for $4.9 million, and 4.72 acres to CBS I for $3.9 million. Peterson and Jayne Cayton represented American Nevada Co. in a five-year lease of 2,286 square feet at 2470 Paseo Verde Parkway to Las Vegas Building & Development Corp. for $894,000. Cayton and Peterson represented the Cheyenne Office Park in a five-year lease of 2,826 square feet at 9960 W. Cheyenne Ave. to Berkley Risk Administrators Co. for $313,000. Cayton also represented Fieldstone Management Co. in a three-year lease of 2,571 square feet at 8879 W. Flamingo Road from the Flamingo Technology Center for $166,000. Lance Robins and Suzette LaGrange represented Matt Construction in the purchase of a 7,977-square-foot building from LB Industrial at 6416 Arville St. for $790,000. Robins and LaGrange represented Mactec Engineering and Consulting in a five-year lease of 4,909 square feet at 6280 S. Valley View Blvd. from York Nevada Management for $320,000. Rodney Tucker represented Outdoor Promotions in a one-year lease of 5,649 square feet at 4405 W. Sunset Road to Gigi Management Co. for $50,000.

-- Colliers International's Tom Stilley, Lizz Schafer and Taber Thill represented Howard Hughes Properties in the 60-month lease of 6,914 square feet at 3960 Howard Hughes Parkway, Suite 400, to Verner, Lipfert, Bernhard, McPherson and Hand for $1.05 million. Stilley, Schafer and Thill represented The Howard Hughes Corp. in its 37-month lease of 2,652 square feet at 3993 Howard Hughes Parkway, Suite 270, to MZN, represented by Darren Lemmon of CB Richard Ellis for $263,074. Daniel J. Doherty and Brian Pankratz represented Rams Horn Properties in the purchase of eight 20,000-square-foot buildings on the northwest corner of Valley View Boulevard and Ponderosa Way from Sidney and Collette Saltz, represented by Paul Hoyt and Jerry Valdez, for $4.09 million. David Grant and Scot Marker represented Warm Springs Promenade in its 60-month lease of 1,721 square feet at the southwest corner of Warm Springs Road and Marks Street in Henderson to Karate for Kids for $201,000. Scott Gragson, John Kilpatrick and Robert Torres represented GK4 in its purchase of 5 acres at the southwest corner of Sunset Road and Cimmaron Road from Eileen Wright for $1.9 million.

-- Harsch Investment Properties' Kellye Ray represented the company in the five-year lease of 1,941 square feet at 6000 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 14B, in the Eastern Commerce Center, to Transcend Dental Laboratory for $121,000. In another transaction, Gabe Telles represented Harsch Investment Properties in the three-year lease of 6,837 square feet at 6925 Speedway Blvd., Suite C110, to Hearrn Motorsports for $64,000.

-- American Nevada Co.'s Charles Van Geel represented the company in the 13-month lease of 1,727 square feet at 901 N. Green Valley Parkway, in the Green Valley Corporate Center, to Mirad Financial Group for $51,810.
