Lifestyle: Imagine...

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

Toll Bros.' model homes are furnished and accessorized to showcase the lifestyle potential buyers can achieve when they purchase a home from the company. Among the upscale amenities visitors can view at two of the builder's new neighborhoods are in-home spas, home theaters with stadium seating, and resort-style back yards.

"We like to show home buyers the possibilities," company executive Gary Mayo said. "When you're buying a new home, you don't always let your imagination get involved, and perhaps you may miss out on a great opportunity to create the ideal entertainment area in the back yard or to make a guest bedroom serve more than one purpose. With our models, some of the optional features may not be for everyone, but at least the designs get buyers to think outside the box."

Additional options include fireplaces that can be installed in areas such as the master bath, kitchen or courtyard entry. Water features and seating are available with some courtyards. The builder's negative-edge spa tubs are another option, and are filled from a spout in the ceiling. Buyers also choose grand staircases, high-tech appliances for the kitchen, and home offices with walls of bookshelves.

Backyard options include one with a coal car that runs on a track along the edge of a pool, and past a guest casita decorated as an Old West saloon. The casita can also be used as a home office, hobby room or retreat. Also featured is a pool complemented by stone waterfalls, slides and a stream that leads to the side of the home.

Model residences are open at the builder's Terra Bella neighborhood, which is located at the intersection of Farm Road and Grand Canyon Drive in the northwestern valley; and at The Reserve at Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin in the southwestern valley.

To visit The Reserve, take Sahara Avenue west past Town Center Drive and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and head west.

Toll Bros. is developing more than 200 neighborhoods in 21 states.
