Social life part of Turnberry Place
Residents of the high-rise Turnberry Place can fill their social calendars with daily activities through the The Stirling Club, a private club at the center of the residential development, according to John Riordan, a sales executive for developer Turnberry Associates. The club offers winemakers' brunches and dinners, gallery exhibits, happy hours, lectures, movie nights, live entertainment, and special events. "People who want an active lifestyle with a variety of amenities will find the Turnberry lifestyle appealing," Riordan said. "Every resident is a member of The Stirling Club." The $40 million facility is the primary amenity at the development, measuring 80,000 square feet and housing a spa, dining, entertainment and recreational space. Residents may use the club's 30,000-square-foot Vinotherapie spa, which includes a virtual reality system, planned beauty salon, hot tubs, saunas, steam baths, Pilates studio, lap pool, plunge pools and fitness center. Additionally, there is an outdoor mosaic pool with private butler cabanas and a pool bar. Other amenities include views of the Strip; valet parking; 24-hour security; and concierge, limousine and room service. There 10 floor plans ranging from 1,550 to 8,000 square feet. They are priced from $500,000 to more than $5.25 million. Homes feature marble whirlpool baths, granite-topped kitchen cabinets, Sub-Zero and Gagganeu appliances, and wraparound glass balconies. When complete, the development will feature four 40-story towers. Sales are under way for towers two and three. Tower Two was recently topped off with completion slated for May, and construction is expected to begin on Tower Three in June. Turnberry Place is being developed by Florida-based developer Turnberry Associates. The father-son team of Don and Jeffrey Soffer, principals of the company, have built several luxury resorts and clubs in Florida. Visitors at the sales pavilion can tour a 2,825-square-foot model residence that simulates the view from the 27th floor of towers one and two. The sales office is located at 2777 Paradise Road and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
