Buyers plan June move to Aliante

Fabian and Val Rodriguez are delighted about their new-home purchase in Aliante, a master-planned community in North Las Vegas. The couple and their two sons will move in June into their home at San Destin Ravello, a KB Home neighborhood.

"We had looked all over the valley and we were ready to place a deposit on a home in the northwest area," Val Rodriguez said. "At that time, there was no construction under way at (Aliante), but we heard that presales would be starting soon. We called for information, liked what we saw in the printed materials they sent us, and became one of the first home buyers in Aliante.

"We knew that all of the builders in Aliante were well-known in this market, but we were especially familiar with KB Home. We had visited many of their model homes in the past and we liked the style and value they offered. Overall, we feel like we found a great home and a great location at Aliante. We know it's going to be a great place to live and to raise a family."

Fabian Rodriguez agreed.

"A community like Aliante offers many benefits for a family like ours, including all of the parks, the walking trails and the planned schools," he said. "Our two boys are very much into dinosaurs, so the Nature Discovery Park will be a big attraction for them. We also like how the park combines play with elements of nature and education. It's going to be a very popular gathering spot."

Homes in San Destin Ravello measure from 1,231 to 1,947 square feet. Prices start from the $140,000s to the $170,000s.

Aliante is a 1,905-acre development of North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Communities. It contains a primary village, consisting of neighborhoods by D.R. Horton, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes; and Sun City Aliante, an adult village by Del Webb.

Planned amenities include an 18-hole municipal golf course, three city parks, trails and a 36-acre arroyo.

A grand opening celebration is planned for May 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To visit any of the presales centers, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Frontage Road, turn right and go to Interstate 215. Head east to Simmons Street and go south.

D.R. Horton's office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 1 p.m.

KB Home's office hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Pulte's office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.

Pardee is forming an interest list at Eldorado Highlands in North Las Vegas. To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and go north. The office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
