KB Home clients tout builder's service

Richard and Elsa Thompson were the first residents of KB Home's Pinedale/Pinecrest neighborhood in Summerlin.

"We had a very pleasant experience working with KB Home," said Elsa Thompson, a mortgage specialist. "We were able to move in earlier than anticipated, which made relocating from California a whole lot easier. Our sales associate (Christina Nickerson) made the whole process very comfortable, and we understood what we would be getting for our investment."

Nickerson and fellow KB sales agents, Francis Marks and Barbara Stone, were honored at the recent new-home sales awards ceremony sponsored by The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin.

The Thompsons purchased a two-story Manhattan design, a 1,711-square-foot home with three bedrooms and two baths.

"I was attracted to the arches and the detached garage," she said.

The 182-home neighborhood will release its final four homes for sale on Saturday, April 19.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Sahara Avenue and go east, turn north at Town Center Drive and then right on La Madre Mountain Drive.

The builder also offers the Sonesta, Capri and Somerset neighborhoods; all are located within The Vistas village.

Sonesta features six one- and two-story floor plans ranging from 1,874 to 2,584 square feet. The homes have three to five bedrooms, two or 2 1/2 baths, and two-car garages. Prices start in the mid-$190,000s.

Five one- and two-story designs are available in Capri. The homes have four to six bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Features include courtyard entries, optional master retreats and optional bonus rooms. Prices start in the $190,000s.

Somerset offers four one-and two-story designs with two to four bedrooms and two or 2 1/2 baths. Features and options include covered patios, downstairs master bedrooms, super family rooms and bonus rooms. Prices start in the mid-$150,000s.

Information is available at Sonesta. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Far Hills Avenue and head west. Turn left on Carriage Hill Drive, then bear right on the roundabout to Park Vista Drive. Turn right on Alta Drive, then left on Vista Run Drive.
