MacDonald Highlands features luxury homes with city views

MacDonald Highlands in Henderson has become a "mountain of luxury" as upscale homes have taken their places within the hillside community, according to developer Rich MacDonald.

Several custom homes are available for sale.

Solamere measures 6,368 square feet and features marble and granite accents, as well as intricate ceiling finishes. Built on a corner lot with a front-yard casita, the estate has four bedrooms, an island kitchen with maple cabinetry, a family room and a game/theater room. A curved staircase leads to the master suite, which features a fireplace, balcony and retreat. Mature landscaping adds to the backyard pool and spa, covered patio and cooking grotto. The home is priced at $1.575 million.

L'ambiance has an open design and features stone floors with inlaid designs. Measuring 5,174 square feet, the four-bedroom home includes a downstairs master suite with butted glass windows. In the back yard, a pool and spa offer views of the sixth hole of DragonRidge Country Club. It is priced at $1.499 million.

Bella Vista measures 5,639 square feet and comes with four bedrooms and an upstairs theater. The living room, dining room and bar areas provide views of the backyard pool, as well as the golf course. The master suite has a retreat. The estate is priced at $1.686 million.
