Skeptics thrilled with Sunset Mesa
After living 18 years in a private home with more than 3,000 square feet, Mark and Terri Ayers made the transition to townhome living at Sunset Mesa in Summerlin.
Originally skeptical about living in a townhome development, Mark Ayers took a chance on Sunset Mesa. "My wife discovered Sunset Mesa and liked the community right away," he said. "It took a little more convincing on my part, but now I'm happy about our decision.
"The construction of the Pulte homes at Sunset Mesa are nice because you don't realize people are living next to you. The floor plans maximize space well and all exterior maintenance is provided by the association," Ayers said.
Floor plans at the neighborhood measure 1,376 to 1,780 square feet and are priced from the high $110,000s.
Standard features at the complex include vaulted ceilings, rounded corners, polished brass light fixtures, rocker light fixtures and ceramic-tile entry flooring.
Homes are provided with overhead lights in all secondary bedrooms, washable paint and six-panel doors with brass handles.
Kitchens feature a choice of oak cabinets, an appliance package, Wilsonart counter tops, a garbage disposal and a vent hood over the range.
The builder has announced the final close out at the gated development in The Crossing village.
"Sunset Mesa has been extremely successful because of its northwest location, value and the easy lifestyle that these homes provide to its residents," said Joe Whatley, vice president of sales and marketing for the builder. "Cottonwood Terrace is an extension of the tradition Pulte Homes created at Sunset Mesa."
Cottonwood Terrace is a townhome development with a gated entry, a pool, spa and fitness center. It is located in The Arbors village in Summerlin. All homes feature the Engineered for Life gold package for energy efficiency and are protected by the builder's 10-year warranty. Pre-sales for the development are available at the Sunset Mesa sales office.
To visit Sunset Mesa, take Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive, turn left and follow the signs. Models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when the sales office is open at noon.
