Richmond's name draws realty agent
Southern Nevada's growing housing and job markets enticed Angelica and Fernando Aguayo to move from California to Las Vegas. They recently purchased a home at Richmond American Homes' Echo Canyon neighborhood in the northwestern valley. "As a (real estate) agent, I feel very knowledgeable about finding a home with an excellent value. I have consistently heard terrific comments about Richmond American's reputation and knew I wanted a home built by a builder I could trust. Richmond was the builder that offered the best warranty and quality construction at a reasonable price," Angelica Aguayo said. Five two-story designs with two to four bedrooms are available. The Aguayos chose the 1,638-square-foot Windam floor plan. The home has three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a loft, living room and dining room. The loft can be converted into a bedroom. The 1,415-square-foot Pembroke floor plan, a three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath design, features a living room and a kitchen with a nook, pantry and built-in desk. The master suite has a walk-in closet and dual vanities. Measuring 1,443 square feet, the Hampton design has two bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a loft, living room and kitchen nook. Two bedrooms and a den are featured in the 1,384-square-foot Concord design. The 1,195-square-foot Amherst design has dual master suites, 2 1/2 baths, a living room, tech center and kitchen nook. Prices start from the $240,000s to the $270,000s. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Cheyenne Avenue, head west to Cliff Shadows Parkway, go north to Gowan Road then drive east. The builder offers 24 new-home subdivisions in the valley. All sales offices and models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday and Friday, when they open at noon.
