Del Webb thanks buyers

Del Webb recently hosted events at its four Southern Nevada developments to thank home buyers for contributing to the company's success last year.

More than 300 people attended the Spring Fling festivities at Sun City Aliante, the builder's age-qualified component of the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas. The morning celebration included breakfast, entertainment, informational booths, prize drawings and gifts.

Henderson residents of Sun City Anthem gathered for a similar event, while Solera at Anthem and Anthem Country Club residents were treated to an afternoon barbecue with hayrides, horseshoes, entertainment, informational booths, drawings and gifts.

"It's a privilege to be able to visit with the homeowners of great Del Webb communities and see how much they enjoy living in their new neighborhoods," said Jeb Koury, senior sales manager for Sun City Aliante and the recently sold-out Anthem Country Club.

Seven single-story designs are available at Sun City Aliante. Homes measure from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet and are priced from the mid-$290,000s to the mid-$420,000s, including front- and backyard landscaping.

All homes have the builder's Environments For Living technology, which has energy-efficient features such as low-e windows and cocoon insulation. In addition to being Energy Star certified, the homes offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use guarantee.

Community amenities include tennis and bocce courts, while a recreation center, swimming pool, fitness center, and club and hobby rooms are planned.

The public Aliante Golf Club features an 18-hole, par-72 course.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go north. The sales office and models are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
