Anthem Country Club offers equity memberships

Del Webb Corp. is offering an equity membership opportunity at its Anthem Country Club, according to Jeff Seman, director of golf. Equity members share in the ownership of the club.

"It's just like owning your own home versus renting one," Seman said. "We offer equity memberships to assure members the utmost in access and enjoyment."

The club provides members with use of the course and clubhouse.

"Our greens are spectacular, fairways immaculate and we have one of the top golf course conditions in Southern Nevada," Seman said. "The gentle roll of the fairways and elevated tee boxes invite players of every skill level to play their own game."

Executive golf memberships are also available and offer nonresidents the opportunity to experience the club, course and fitness center on a limited term.

The championship golf course winds through the community and maximizes the rugged mountain terrain. The designers used every aspect of the terrain to create the 7,300-yard, par-72 course.

The guard-gated country club also offers dining opportunities from fine dining to a mixed grill and sports bar, a board room, pro shop, meeting rooms, locker rooms, lounges, and concierge and valet services.

Other facilities include an athletic club and salon, which has a fitness area, aerobics studio, outdoor swimming pool, lap pool, wading pool and spa. Reflections, the salon, is open to the public and offers a full range of services. Additionally, the center has a fitness director and personal trainers.

Outside the club are sand volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, and a supervised area for children.

Anthem Country Club, built at an elevation of 3,000 feet, will comprise about 1,600 homes and custom-home sites. There are four series of homes with 20 floor plans. Homes are priced from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

Custom-home sites overlooking the golf course, city or mountains range from one-half acre to more than an acre and are priced from about $200,000 to more than $1 million.

Professional designers are available to assist in the selection of options, such as floor coverings, counter tops, cabinets, interior colors, light fixtures, appliances and window coverings.

To visit, take Interstate 215 east to Eastern Avenue and proceed about three miles south past St. Rose Parkway. The sales center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
