Several builders offer homes at Lake Las Vegas

Lake Las Vegas Resort, a master-planned community in Henderson, has homes available from various builders. These homes are priced from $400,000 to $1.55 million.

The northern shore features Vila di Lago, a product of AmLand Development. It offers one- to three-story townhomes with courtyards, plus 80 single-family homes adjacent to Reflection Bay Golf Club.

The townhomes measure from 1,603 to 2,526 square feet, while the one- and two-story single-family homes range from 1,855 to 2,536 square feet. Prices start at $400,000.

All plans include attached two-car garages, landscaped front and rear yards, patios or terraces, granite kitchen counter tops, 10-foot ceilings, marble entries, and ceramic-tile floors.

MarQuis Homes, a division of Centex Homes, features the Sorrento community, located directly on the greens of the Reflection Bay Golf Club. It will consist of 52 single- and two-story homes priced from the $620,000s.

Four floor plans, with as many as nine optional configurations, are available, ranging from 3,000 to 4,850 square feet. Options include casitas, home offices, home theaters and great rooms. A design center team is available to assist buyers.

"For the ultimate in designing ease, our clients may also choose a turn-key option on their Sorrento home," Steve Green, division manager for Centex Homes Lake Las Vegas Resort, said. "With the turn-key option, our design team coordinates and supplies everything from furniture, artwork and foliage down to napkins, bath towels and silverware."

Standard features include landscaped front yards and courtyards, fireplaces with cast stone surrounds, dining rooms with walk-in wine vaults, and kitchens with built-in twin thermal ovens.

Following reported record sales for March, the 550-acre SouthShore community of PortaCielo is in its close-out phase with only 11 homes remaining, according to Innovative Resort Communities, the developer.

Prices begin at $510,000.

The community consists of 72 Mediterranean-style homes ranging, from 2,460 to 3,500 square feet. The builder is offering incentives on the remaining homes, such as landscaped front yards, courtyard pavers, landscaped courtyards and two-tone paint. Homes can be completed in 60 days.

All homes contain French doors, pedestal sinks, island kitchens with granite counter tops, and owner suites with walk-in closets.

The SouthShore villa community of MiraMonte, designed and built by Villas at SouthShore, a division of Amstar Homes, has 12 single-story homes remaining. Lake access is offered at the gated peninsula location.

Prices begin at $1.55 million.

"Already more than half of the homes available at MiraMonte have been sold and the original models closed escrow within 60 days of opening," company executive David McEntire said.

Amenities include fountain courtyards, casitas, boat docks, golf cart garages, sunken wet bars with wine coolers, spa tubs, steam showers, island kitchens and integrated multi-wiring systems.

Lake Las Vegas Resort is being developed by Transcontinental Properties Inc.

To visit, take Lake Mead Drive, seven miles east of Boulder Highway, to Lake Las Vegas Parkway.

The reception center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
