Erte plan nears completion at The Villas

An upgraded Erte design is nearing completion at The Villas, a Christopher Homes neighborhood within the Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley.

The two-story home features two bedrooms, a study, 3 1/2 baths and 2,760 square feet.

"This home will showcase the fine indoor and outdoor amenities that are synonymous with Christopher Homes, along with a number of very attractive customizing options such as a beautiful paver stone driveway," sales agent Terri Pickering said. "It is also one of our first available Erte designs with the second-story option, which expands the livable space and maximizes the potential for views from the home."

The neighborhood offers seven courtyard floor plans, ranging from about 2,100 to 3,300 square feet and priced from the high $300,000s to the mid-$800,000s. Buyers have the option of adding another level to their selected home. One-story plans can be expanded to two stories, and the two-story design can be expanded to three stories.

The homes feature courtyards with optional fireplaces, rear-yard terraces, covered patios, granite kitchen counter tops and smart house wiring systems. Buyers have access to the builder's in-house design center.

The association handles the landscaping of the front yards and open space areas.

Pickering said brisk sales activity has led the builder to step up construction at the neighborhood, which will result in a selection of homes ready for summer occupancy.

"These homes will be located on some of our most spectacular home sites, including many with city, golf course and mountain views," she said. "This is the phase we have been waiting for, and prospective buyers are demonstrating a very high level of enthusiasm and interest ... We are still offering early-phase pricing and our selection of residential designs and home sites is outstanding right now."

The neighborhood is surrounded by the golf course and many of the homes will be built on cul-de-sacs that are lined with decorative pavers.

Community amenities include roving security, concierge services and several recreational facilities, including a 42,000-square-foot clubhouse, a planned sports and fitness center, swimming pool, and tennis courts. Each buyer receives a social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval.

Christopher Homes is also building The Christopher Collection in the golf club. Homes in this neighborhood range from about 3,000 to 6,200 square feet and are priced from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million. Five single-story plans, two two-story residences with main-level master suites, and eight two-story plans with upstairs master suites are available.

To visit both neighborhoods, take Interstate 15 to Lake Mead Drive and exit west. Models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
