Anthem opens new models

Celebrations continue this weekend as Anthem Country Club opens its 12 new models in Henderson.

"The public's reaction to our new models has been phenomenal. And it's only just begun," sales manager Jeb Koury said. "We've got additional staff on hand to answer questions and direct guests through these beautiful new homes."

The models are part of the 16 new designs and are divided into four collections: Province, Meridian, Sterling and Crowne Pointe. They measure from 1,600 to 5,000 square feet, and prices range from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

"The 2002 Edition Homes bring a new level of luxury to this community by enhancing what everyone already loved about Anthem Country Club," Koury said.

The country club is part of Del Webb Corp.'s Anthem master-planned community.

It features a 7,300-yard, par-72 championship golf course with as many as five tee boxes and several water features. The course is designed by PGA golfer Hale Irwin and architect Keith Foster. Equity and executive (nonresident) golf memberships are available.

An athletic club and salon is complete with an array of workout equipment, a full-service salon and spa, tennis courts, resort-style pool, sand volleyball court, child-care facility, aerobics classes, and personal trainers.

Custom-home sites are also available and start at $525,000. Each custom-home neighborhood is privately gated within the guard-gated community.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Eastern Avenue and proceed about three miles south of St. Rose Parkway.

The sales center and models are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
