EOB announces first-time buyer orientations

The Home Center of the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County has scheduled several free, first-time home-buyer orientations this month.

Services provided through the center include assistance with down payment and closing costs; home buyer education; and pre-purchase, credit and budget counseling.

In addition, a program is available that offers qualified buyers the opportunity of becoming a homeowner with as little as $500 of the buyer's own funds.

Sessions will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m.; Monday, April 15 at 9 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. An orientation in Spanish is slated for Tuesday, April 23 at 6 p.m.

All sessions will be held at 3674 N. Rancho Drive, Suite 32.
