Del Webb honors actor at new Pinnacle Village
Hollywood veteran Tony Curtis is being honored by Del Webb's Sun City Anthem. The builder is naming the entry street to its first gated neighborhood within the age-qualified Henderson community after the actor. Tony Curtis Drive will lead into Pinnacle Village, which will make its debut this month. "We have selected choice floor plans for Pinnacle Village ... with an emphasis on spaciousness. The nine home plans of this collection represent the best Sun City Anthem has to offer," sales manager Jim Bond said. Homes measuring between 1,840 and 3,175 square feet will be priced from the mid-$200,000s to more than $500,000. "This is a magnificent location. Pinnacle Village overlooks the Las Vegas Valley below it, and it is within easy walking distance to Anthem Center," Bond said. The neighborhood will have 227 homes, many situated on cul-de-sacs. Sales are scheduled to begin this month, with construction set to start this summer. A rendering of the new neighborhood is located in the community's sales office. Community amenities include Anthem Center, site of fitness, social and recreational opportunities, as well as Trumpets Restaurant and Lounge, which is open to the public. The Revere at Anthem Golf Club features two golf courses: Lexington, a 7,143-yard course, and Concord, a 7,050-yard course. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and then turn right on Alexandria Drive. Models are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
