Turnberry sees brisk sales pace
High-rise residences in the third tower at Turnberry Place, a $650-million luxury condominium community in Las Vegas, are selling at a brisk pace, according to John Riordan, vice president of sales. Residences in the tower are selling 15 percent faster than those for Tower Two, which was completed last spring, Riordan said. Since sales for the third tower began in 2001, 130 of the 188 residences have been sold. "Sales in the last 90 days have been equal to the sales success we experienced in our best months since sales began (in 1999)," Riordan said. Construction on the 40-story tower, expected to be complete this summer, has surpassed the 20th floor. "A number of our buyers are planning to relocate to Las Vegas or they are looking for a second home. Tower Three, like our other two towers, caters to those who prefer to live in a convenient location and desire the comfort and prestige that Turnberry Place offers," Riordan said. Each residence features Italian marble spa tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, Sub-Zero and Gagganeu appliances and wraparound glass balconies. Ten floor plans are available, and prices range from $550,000 to more than $5 million. Membership in the private Stirling Club is provided to all residents. The 80,000-square-foot club features casual and fine dining, a Caudalie vinotherapie spa, a fitness center with a virtual-reality system, a Pilates studio, beauty salon, saunas and steam baths and an indoor lap pool. There also is a nightclub, piano lounge, tennis courts and an outdoor pool with a bar. Additional amenities include valet parking, 24-hour security, concierge service, limousine service and room service. Turnberry Place will have 740 residences and four 40-story towers upon completion. Visitors can tour a 2,825-square-foot model residence that simulates the view from the 27th floor of two towers in the sales pavilion, located at 2777 Paradise Road.
