Visitors can still tour show home

Christopher Homes has extended guided tours of its $7.5 million custom show home for a limited time at The Enclave in Southern Highlands Golf Club.

Erika Geiser, vice president of marketing, said the positive response from those who have visited the custom home in the southwestern valley since it opened in February prompted the extension.

The home is open to visitors 12 and older from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday. A donation of $10 per person is requested.

All proceeds benefit the Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer of Southern Nevada.

"This magnificent custom home has received accolades from the general public, as well as housing industry experts from around the world," Geiser said.

She said the home showcases technological advances in home building, innovative amenities and "the level of quality and craftsmanship custom-home clients can expect when they work with Christopher Homes."

Features of the 10,000-square-foot home include four courtyards, a theater, wellness center, indoor sports court, sky room, seven fireplaces and 10 baths.

The show home is one of 18 custom residences that will be built in the neighborhood. Homes will measure from about 5,000 to 10,000 square feet, many aligning the golf course and offering views of the neighborhood's park. Prices are expected to range from about $1.5 million to more than $8 million.

Buyers will receive consultation with the builder's in-house design and construction staff, including assistance with electrical, plumbing, flooring, counter top and cabinetry selections.

Each buyer will receive a golf membership to Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit, head west and follow the signs.
